The Great Resignation continues in 2022. Ed Samuel, Executive Career Coach with SamNova, Inc (www.samnovainc.com) will be discussing best practices to deploy before you decide to quit or resign from your current employer. In our quest to optimize our careers and get to that better place, Ed will focus on areas such as 
the importance of doing a career assessment, having a great 1-2 punch before your job search begins, leveraging internal networks in a new way, knowing the pre-work needed if making a bold career pivot, seeking legal counsel on contractual obligations, testing the waters with your boss one last time, the importance of the quiet period, ensuring you sharpen your interviewing skills, dust up on how to engage third party recruiters, not jumping at the first opportunity or recruiter that calls,  aligning your values to targeted firms and whenever possible, exiting with grace. Ed will also discuss the downside of quitting without a new job in hand.
